Belize Underwater (Scuba Diving)

I went scuba diving off the coast of Caye Caulker, Belize. I got certified as a PADI underwater photographer which was a lot of fun.  These shots were taken from 2 dives, I used a Canon G12, with a Ikelite housing and D50 strobe.

Underwater Photography

This summer I have decided to try my luck at underwater photography.  My wife and I are heading to Belize on a "babymoon" and I will be doing some diving.  I am currently doing the PADI online underwater photography course and when I get to Belize I will complete the course by doing a few underwater photo dives.  So far I have practiced a few times in a pool and today I went to Paradise Cove in Malibu.  Unfortunately the viz was very poor, no more than 5 feet. But at least I got some practice in shooting kelp.  Below are the pictures from today.

My set up:
Canon G12
Ikelite Houseing
Ikelite DS 51 Strobe
Dyron 67mm Macro Lens
